What are these…blocks? Strikes? Dance movements? I don’t know, what I do know is that they are not always what they seem to be.
For the last number of years, I've been on a search to find the practical application of Traditional Martial Arts forms... My upbringing in Tang Soo Do, and the dissection of the core material (Bunkai/Bunhae) has been a springboard to understanding my current system of Pilsung Moo Do. This video is an introduction, or my mission statement for this journey.
BUNHAE is Korean, meaning to dissect, break apart and analyze. The more common term is Bunkai in Japanese. The study of Bunhae is paramount to fully understanding and learning to apply the movements found in traditional martial arts. This seminar will be a journey of discovery as we try to unlock practical application for the movements found in the Traditional Martial Arts for the purpose of self-protection.
Join us on November 19th as we set out on a journey to discover the practical value of Traditional Martial Arts techniques and the possibilities of implementing them into your self-defense strategy.
